Context

Hey! I am Manav, a '24 batch student here at VIT and I created this site to make our lives a bit easier when it comes to figuring out what’s being served in the messes every day.
As someone who has better things to do than to remember the mess menu, I know how frustrating it can be walking all the way to the mess only to realize it's not what you wanted to eat, or to constantly manage and update different photos of the mess menu, every time the menu gets updated. This is the reason I made this Site!

What You’ll Find Here

Here, you will be able to check the updated menu of ALL the messes in the campus in real time, getting to know, what is being served in which mess currently!

How is this Site Maintained?

I manage this site alone — everything from the design and code to updating the menus. I usually update them every month, but I rely on fellow students to notify me when changes happen.

So if you spot outdated info or want to help, please fill out the Feedback & Update Form. Every response makes a difference!

• Q: Is there an Easier way to see the menu, than to search for the site?
  A: Yes! now you can view the menu even more easily with just a click.
  Just make a shortcut of the site from your favourite Browser to install our Web App, and view the menu in just a click!!
• Q: How do you get the menu updates?
  A: I usually get notified through the Google Form linked on the site, or I manually check and update once a month.
• Q: Why isn’t the menu always 100% up to date?
  A: Since this isn't automated and I'm managing it solo, there might be delays. I update as soon as I get accurate info.
• Q: Can I contribute?
  A: Yes! Please use the Google Form linked above, to submit any updates regarding the menu, or feedbacks regarding the site. If you’re interested in helping more actively, feel free to reach out!
• Q: Is this a commercial project?
  A: Not at all. It’s purely a student-led initiative with no affiliation to VIT or the messes.
